ENERGA Group, established in 2007 on the basis of the assets owned by ENERGA-OPERATOR SA and ENERGA Elektrownie Ostrołęka SA. Its main business activity areas are: distribution of electric power, participation in electric power market and generation of electricity. Companies that constitute with the Energa Capital Group also offer a number of various services, such as transportation, IT, lighting and many others, ENERGA provides its services to more than two and a half million households and three hundred thousand companies. We are one of the biggest employers in Poland with over twelve thousand employees. ENERGA is also the leader in generating energy from renewable sources. ENERGA Group operates 45 water power plants. Holding a leading position is the main goal of our investements and development works.

ENERGA-OPERATOR SA with its head office in Gdańsk is the biggest company of ENERGA Group and one of the biggest distribution companies in Poland. It supplies electric power to almost 2.8 m households and 300 000 companies, transferring annually over 20 TWh in total.
The company has eight branches: in Elbląg, Gdańsk, Kalisz, Koszalin, Olsztyn, Płock, Słupsk and in Toruń. There are as many as 41 power network regions. The Company is a distribution system operator (DSO) on the area of 74 717 km2 within the Zachodniopomorskie province, Pomorskie province, Kujawsko-pomorskie province, Warmińsko-mazurskie province, Mazowieckie province and Wielkopolskie province.
The Company focuses mainly on managing distribution system (including infrastructure and transfer services) and on administering the balancing market in such a way as to enable receivers to choose their electric power provider.
ENERGA-OPERATOR SA has access to modern measurement and settlement systems and telecommunications systems which are used to measure electric power sold and purchased by particular participants in the market. The Company monitors, reads and collects measurement data concerning electrical power transfer, recorded at particular measurement points of the power system. It also makes the data available to electric power sellers. The Company is able to provide measurment services (i.e. collecting and transferring data) for other entities.
ENERGA-OPERATOR SA maintains and keeps in good repair the network property which includes 162 802 km of overhead and cable power lines.
ENERGA-OBRÓT SA is one of the four leading companies of ENERGA Group. It was established in May 2007. In June 2009 it took over the organised part and the personnel of ENERGA TRADING SA.
ENERGA-OBRÓT SA specialises in wholesale trade on local and international power market. It also provides electric power for individual and business customers. The Company represents ENERGA Group in contacts with local power producers which use renawable sources. It deals with the issues related to electric power products, such as property rights (so-called green, red, yellow certificates) and emission allowances.
ENERGA-OBRÓT SA has successfully engaged in trade abroad by taking part in foreign electric power exchange (e.g. German EEX and Scandinavian NORD POOL). When on 1 July the electric power market in Poland became free, the Company had to respond to another challenge, but at the same time was given another chance to grow.
Thorough knowledge of the market and experience in electric power trade, along with possessed capital and strong brand constitute unquestionable advantages of the Company. In 2008 the Company focused on introducing new products and on demonstrating the benefits offered to current and prospective customers.
ENERGA Obsługa i Sprzedaż Sp. z o.o. specialises in professional sales and customer service provided on behalf of ENERGA-OPERATOR SA and ENERGA-OBRÓT SA. The Company was established on 1 August 2008. It has built its position on the market by creating a modern, multidemensional organisation and adjusting to the market conditions.
Almost 2.8 m customers from an area equal to a quarter of the territory of Poland are served in over 50 customer service centres, located in, among others, Elbląg, Gdańsk, Kalisz, Koszalin, Ostrołęka, Płock, Słupsk and Toruń. The Company plans to extand its service network even further and to open new centres in places most covenient for customers, in town centres and in shopping centres. Moreover, ENERGA Obsługa i Sprzedaż Sp. z o.o. aims AT standardising and simplifying customer service procedures.
At the same time the Company is constantly developing great competence in this respect by introducing up-to-date standards and modern IT tools, especially as regards, settlement systems, customer realtionship management and electronic dokument interchange.
The Company pays special attention to modern communications methods, such as eBOK (electronic customer service) and tBOK (telephone customer service), which enable the customers to take care of their matters from home. Various websites have been created in order to provide the customers with an array of analytical and reporting tools. They simultaneously provide the biggest receivers with yet another communication channel which may be used while communicating with individual advisors.
The Company intends to expand on the market and introduce new products into its offer, related to not only electric power sales, but also to other utility services (gas, water).
