Poland is one of the largest and most significant European countries. Taking its area (312 685 square kilometers) and population (38,23 million) into account, it has the sixth place in the European Union.
Human resources are the main advantage of Poland.
It is a country of well-qualified, young people with a good command of foreign languages. 50% of population are people under 35, and 35% of population are people under 25.
Poland, as a member of the most important European and international organisations (EU, NATO, OECD), provides security and political stability which support the economic growth of the country.

Lodz voivodeship
It occupies the space of 18 219 square km which is populated with 2,6 million inhabitants. It is situated in the centre of Poland at the junction of the major communication routes, A1 and A2 motorways, and S8 and S14 expressways.
The region of Lodz is also a significant railway junction: there are works in progress to construct high-speed Warsaw-Poznań-Berlin and Warsaw-Wroclaw railway lines. International passenger air terminal is also located in city.
