Conditions for obtaining a business permit to operate within Lodz SEZ:
- investment of minimum EUR 100 000;
- share of own resources equal to minimum 25% of total investment costs;
- maintenance of the investment in the region for minimum 5 years from the end of the whole investment (3 years in case of small and medium enterprises);
- maintenance of the employment level for minimum 5 years (3 years in case of small and medium enterprises);
- tax exemptions are granted only on the grounds of business activity run within the special economic zone;
- conducting business activity with regard to which a permit can be granted;
The majority of business activities can be conducted within the area of Lodz SEZ:
- production (including food processing)
- services (including transport and storage)
- Business Process Outsourcing- BPO (including information technology, R&D, accountancy, as well as call centres)
